oh gee it has been a long time since i blogged sorry guys! i have been super busy with school and such you know how it gets sometimes? This post is going to be about how to heal a bad sunburn. I live in the Midwest U.S so it is freezing and there is a ton of snow. I am longing for summer to come around, so i thought if i blog about something summer like then maybe i can speed up mother nature and make summer come faster. I (if you don't know me) am probably the most pale person ever. I burn like nobody else and i never ever tan. I really try to focus in the summer of putting on sunscreen everyday when i get out of the shower in the morning but sometimes that just doesn't happen. A couple years ago i got a super bad burn and it blistered and peeled and my skin cracked and it hurt to put anything on it (ie. lotion aloe ect.). I finally went to the pharmacy and asked the lady there what i should put on it that will not hurt. She had me get Witch Hazel and Eucerin. These two products heal my sunburns faster then anything i have ever used. I usually put these on before bed (if my sunburn is super bad i put it on morning and night, or just randomly all day if it hurts/burns bad)I take the Witch Hazel on a cotton ball and rub it where i am burned, let it dry a little bit and then put some Eucerin on top. The trick i have found with the Eucerin, just smear it on and don't try hard to rub it in, let it just kind of sit on top of your skin(i know it feels super gross!). Make sure you wear a t shirt to bed so that it doesn't all rub off when you are sleeping. You can buy Witch Hazel and Eucerin at any drug store Target ,Walmart,or Walgreens.Witch Hazel is about 6$ and Eucerin is about 8$. I hope this helps you guys heal your hurting sunburns. Email me!
